Nora al-Sa'ad thinks that introducing cinema theaters in Saudi Arabia is a mistake. She believes that we have many problems need to be solved before even thinking about a trivial matter such as cinema. I have to disagree with her on this. If cinema were such a trivial matter, why would you compare it to problems like unemployment and poverty? When it comes to solving our nation's problems, no one has the right to set priorities. We must all work really hard to solve all of these problems, instead of wasting our time and effort trying to identify what the most important problem is. Her excuse reminds me with the lame excuse Arab leaders use for delaying reform in their countries: solve the Palestinian conflict first. As if the conflict was solved, they will be running to reform and democracy. Yeah! Right! # »
