This story on BBC says that cassette tapes do not have long left, "at least in the West." However, this is a little bit different in other parts of the world, such as Saudi Arabia, where cassettes account for 70% of music sales. Even though the sound qulaity of CDs is much better, I still prefer to get cassettes to listen to in my car. I don't know exactly, but something about those audio tapes feels different and special. Probably it is the memories attached to the tapes that makes me still want to own more of these. # »
